His recent work for the BBC includes<i>\u00a0<strong>Archie Dobson\u2019s War,\u00a0<\/strong><\/i>a children\u2019s online radio play about World War One.\u00a0 His\u00a0<i>\u00a0<strong>A-Z of World War One<\/strong><\/i>\u00a0won a Royal Television Society Award in 2015. Rob is co-author (with Patrice Baldwin) of\u00a0<strong><i>Inspiring Writing Through Drama.<\/i><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>More recently, Rob was commissioned by the INK festival to write a play for young people addressing the topic of suicide. \u201c<b>The Drummer Boy<\/b>\u201d received funding from the Suffolk Safeguarding Partnership and Suffolk Public Health, and toured schools and colleges in Suffolk during the Summer term 2025.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;2151&#8243; img_size=&#8221;medium&#8221;][vc_column_text]\n<h3>ROBIN MCLOUGHLIN<\/h3>\n<h4>associate director<\/h4>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Robin is an actor, writer and producer. He trained at Bretton Hall and the Central School of Speech and Drama.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For writing, he won a Fringe First for <em><strong>Dumbstruck<\/strong><\/em> in 2013 and has written several scripts for The Guildhall School of Speech and Drama including <em><strong>Blackout<\/strong>, <strong>Derry Halloween<\/strong> <\/em>and <em><strong>Beasts of London<\/strong><\/em>. In 2018 he adapted Jeremy Page\u2019s novel <strong><em>Salt<\/em> <\/strong>for <em><strong>fEAST, <\/strong><\/em>he also wrote\u00a0<em><strong>Comfort and Joy <\/strong><\/em>in<em><strong> Merrily on High <\/strong><\/em>(2020). His latest play is <em><strong>The Peggottys<\/strong><\/em> which will tour Norfolk and Suffolk in 2026. He studied physics at Durham University and has over twenty years\u2019 experience in the recording industry. His work includes solo artists, string quartets, rock bands and symphony orchestras, both in the studio and on location throughout the UK. Mark has worked with internationally renowned artists such as <em><strong>Nicholas Daniel<\/strong><\/em> (Oboist\/Conductor), <strong><em>Mike Cox<\/em> <\/strong>(first flute BBC Symphony Orchestra, London sinfonietta, Professor at the Royal Academy), <strong><em>Julius Drake<\/em><\/strong> (internationally acclaimed pianist, working with many of the world\u2019s leading artists), <strong><em>Bob and Barn<\/em><\/strong> (film and Sony video game composers) and the <strong><em>Bingham, Coull, Castalien, Artesian <\/em><\/strong>and<strong><em> Maggini String Quartets<\/em><\/strong>. Mark plays guitar in bands and is a founder member of the Neil Young tribute band Don\u2019t Spook The Horse. He is a singer songwriter and has produced three albums and written music for BBC World Service\u2019s \u2018Farming Today\u2019. He has designed sound for the last ten fEAST productions and a number of other dramatic commissions.<\/p>\n<p>Mark\u2019s musical ear and technical expertise in sound design ensure that fEAST\u2019s productions resonate emotionally and atmospherically.
